End of Claim questionnaire - Online Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
The competition details form part of these terms and conditions.
Entry into the Prize Draw will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The closing date is as stated on the End of Claim Questionnaire webpage.
The competition is open to all members who have had a legal claim concluded with Unite Legal Services in the 6 month period prior to the closing date for entry.
To enter the Prize Draw a member must complete the End of Claim Questionnaire on the Unite Legal Services website.
Only one entry per prize draw/competition per member. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified. All entries must be made directly by the person entering the Prize Draw.
The prize draw is open to UK and ROI residents aged 18 and over.
Use of a false name and address will result in disqualification.
Entries made using methods generated by a script, macro or the use of automated devices will be void.
No responsibility can be accepted for prize draw entries lost, delayed or corrupted, or due to computer error in transit.
The prize is an Apple iPad Mini 2 Wi‐Fi 32GB ‐ Space Grey (7.9" Retina Display, ME277B/A). It is not transferable to another individual and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
Unite Legal Services reserves the right to amend or alter the terms and conditions at any time.
In the event of a prize being unavailable, Unite Legal Services reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
The competition is open to employees of Unite the Union – with the exception of any employees (and their families), their agents or related third parties who are directly connected with the administration of the online prize draw.
The winner will be selected at random after the closing date by an independent employee of Unite the Union from all the entries received. The Judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winners will be notified by e‐mail or telephone (using the details provided on the End of Claim Questionnaire) within 6 weeks of the closing date. Following such notification the winner will provide/confirm to Unite details of their postal address to which the Prize will be delivered.
Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner. If Unite Legal Services cannot contact the winner, using the details provided at the date of entry, within a reasonable period of time (to be established at Unite Legal Service’s sole discretion), Unite Legal Services reserves the right to re‐draw a winner of the Prize draw and thereafter until a winner is found.
Please allow 28 days for delivery of the Prize. Unite Legal Services accepts no responsibility for the Prize being lost, damaged or delayed in the post.
The winner agrees to the use of their name and disclosure of the county of their residence relating to any post‐winning publicity.
Unless otherwise stated the promoter of the Prize Draw is Unite the Union, 128 Theobalds Road, London, WC1X 8TN. A list of winners will be available six weeks after the prize draw closing date by sending a Stamped Addressed Envelope to Unite Legal Services Prize Draw at the above address. Only the surname and county of the winner will be disclosed.
The Prize Draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English Law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England.
