Lesley's story

Thanks to the support of Unite Legal Services, I have now received fair compensation for this accident. I have also received assistance with treatment to aid my recovery.

Lesley was involved in a road traffic accident during the course of her employment. 

She was stationary in a parking bay when another driver reversed into the rear of her car, causing Lesley to jolt forward and hit her head on the window. 

She contacted Unite Legal Services and was put in touch with a specialist road traffic accident solicitor to discuss her case. The solicitor contacted the insurance company of the third party driver and liability was admitted.  

Unite Legal Services funded a medical report from a consultant orthopaedic surgeon, which assisted Lesley’s case by setting out the neck and head injuries she sustained in the accident. 

An offer of £2,475 was put forward in full and final settlement of her case, but as Lesley was still suffering from her injuries she did not accept the offer. 

A further medical report was funded by Unite Legal Services to detail Lesley’s symptoms, which was sent to the insurance company, who increased the offer to £6,205. The offer was accepted.   

As a member of Unite, Lesley had access to expert legal advice, which ensured that she kept 100% of her compensation awarded.
