As a Unite the Union member in Scotland, your membership gives you, and your family members, access to free legal advice and support. The legal support available to you will be bespoke to the Scotland region and you can find out more below or by contacting your local office.

Accidents at or away from work

Members in Scotland who require assistance in pursuing a claim for an accident at or away from work should contact their local Unite office for a referral. Unite members who make a claim with us retain 100% of their compensation and pay no legal fees.

We also offer an extended personal injury claim service for family members in respect of all non-work-related accidents (please note that accidents at work for family members are not covered). Family members also retain 100% of their compensation and pay no legal fees.

Free will service Scotland

This service covers a straightforward will for Unite members and their partner/spouse. *

In order to be eligible for the free will service, members are required to have 13 weeks paid membership.

To take advantage of the free will service in the Scotland region, members should contact their local Unite office via the details below.
